GCSE Short Courses
Our new GCSE short courses give schools and colleges a flexible way to deliver GCSE English Language and Maths when live lessons aren’t the right approach. Designed specifically for independent online learning, each course combines structured learning with regular teacher feedback, helping students work towards GCSE success at a pace that suits them.
Available as a standalone option or alongside Academy21’s live provision, this new addition to the Academy21 offer gives schools a more flexible way to support their Key Stage 4 students, and students aged 16-19 targeting grades 4-6.

Our GCSE Short Courses have been designed specifically for self-paced online study. They are not recordings of live lessons. Every lesson has been created to support independent learning through clear explanations, guided activities and opportunities to practise and apply new knowledge.
Students access their learning through Academy21’s online platform, where they complete structured lessons, submit regular assignments and receive feedback from Academy21 teachers. They can pause, revisit and replay lesson content whenever they need to, while schools can monitor progress throughout the programme.
