What to expect from alternative provision with Academy21

Academy21 provides local authorities and schools with online, alternative provision which supports learners who cannot attend school. Lessons are delivered by experienced subject specialist teachers and have a maximum of 15 students per class. Each student is given their own personalised timetable, built around their needs and tailored to their ability. Students are set regular homework activities and a designated school authority can access progress records at any time. Students may also access a library of content provided by their teacher, and lesson recordings, if they ever need to catch up or revisit a certain lesson.

Online academic provision makes it simpler than ever to minimise disruption to young people’s learning and to ensure there is no further learning opportunities lost.
